ABOUT FEMI FAKAYODE SCREENWRITING COMPETITION

Femi Fakayode Screenwriting Competition (FFSC) is an annual competition designed to identify and nurture talented Christian screenwriters. Organized by Femi Fakayode and Zionhome Film Production, a film company with operations in Nigeria and the United Kingdom, FFSC provides a platform for writers to showcase their skills.

FFSC was Launched in Nigeria in 2023, and the competition has expanded to other African countries, fostering a community of creative storytellers and promoting excellence in Christian screenwriting.

The writers own their scripts. The first place winner(s) will be contacted before the script is shot into a movie.

Can I shoot my script into a movie immediately after submission?

We advise that you wait till the winners are announced before you shoot your script into movie.

Must I use English names for the characters?

You may use any language for names and places in your scripts.

How do I correct mistakes on my script after submission?

We advise that you check your scripts before submission, as entries received cannot be corrected.
